This Privacy Policy explains how Zenthfit ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects the information you provide when using our mobile application and website (together, the "Service"). By using Zenthfit, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect information you give us directly, as well as data your device shares when you use the app.
Our AI coach reads the logs you choose to share within the app (food, workouts, mood, sleep) so it can answer your questions. Conversations and the logs used to generate replies are processed by trusted AI providers under strict data-handling agreements and are not used to train public models. We do not sell or share your individual health data with advertisers — ever.
Zenthfit uses OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI") to power AI features (food-photo analysis, the AI coach, personalized plans, and insights). When you use an AI feature, we send only the data needed for that request — food photos you scan, logged nutrition, body metrics (height, weight, age, sex, goals), Apple Health metrics (steps, heart rate, HRV, sleep), workouts, mood entries, and messages you type. We do not send your name, email, or contact details. This data is transmitted over an encrypted connection solely to generate your result. Per OpenAI's API data-usage policy, data sent through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models and is retained only transiently for abuse monitoring. OpenAI is contractually required to protect this data to a standard equal to that described in this policy. We obtain your explicit in-app consent before any data is shared, and you can disable AI features anytime in Settings.
We only share information when:
We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, isolated infrastructure, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will notify you of any breach affecting your account in line with applicable law.
We keep your data for as long as you have an active account. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (e.g., financial records).
Zenthfit is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
If you use Zenthfit outside the country where our servers are located, your data may be transferred internationally. We use Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards where required.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app before they take effect.
